Cath Lab Technologist | Lexington, KY | 13-Week Contract
Join a busy interventional cardiology program performing 10–15 cases per day across a four-suite cath lab. This position focuses on scrub and monitoring duties for a diverse procedural caseload including interventional cardiology, structural heart, and peripheral vascular cases. EP and IR operate as separate departments, though occasional floating to other procedural areas based on census may be required.
Shift & Schedule
- 4x10s or 5x8s, Day shift
- Cases typically run 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- On-call coverage required (weeknight, weekend, and holiday call)
- Call response time: 30 minutes
- Schedule is supervisor-assigned; no self-scheduling
Contract Details
- Start Date: November 16, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- Orientation: 3 unit-specific shifts
- Scrubs provided by the facility
Required Certifications & Credentials
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS
- ARRT certification
- Prior cath lab experience required; candidates must demonstrate procedural competency
