Med Surg Tele

Med/Tele RN – Night Shift | Rochester, NY | 16-Week Contract

This position is on a newly opened Medical/Telemetry unit providing care to adult patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and general medical management. The unit delivers care across a range of acute medical conditions in a structured, fast-paced environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights, 12-hour shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (with occasional night/day rotation)
• 36 hours per week; 48 hours also available
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• Minimum of 1 holiday worked per contract

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience, including at least 1 recent year in med-surg/tele
• Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work history

Licenses & Certifications

• Active New York RN license required
• AHA BLS required
• Charge nurse experience is preferred but not required

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks | Estimated start: November 2026
• Float to other units may be required based on census and staffing needs
• Block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Scheduling flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the unit
