Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Pre-Op nurse for a 13-week contract assignment.
Schedule & Requirements
- Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Minimum Experience: 18 months in perioperative nursing
- Start Date: December 7, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed hours
Clinical Scope
You'll work in the pre-operative area, supporting patient preparation for surgical procedures. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medical history review, medication reconciliation, IV placement, and coordination with surgical teams. You'll ensure patients are physically and emotionally prepared for surgery while maintaining compliance with facility protocols.
What We're Looking For
- Current RN license (Georgia)
- BLS certification required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of the surgical team
- Comfort with fast-paced, detail-oriented environments
