Medical ICU Float Position

Location: Boston, MA

Assignment Details:

• Specialty: Medical ICU
• Shift: 12-hour rotating (days/nights)
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Start Date: February 1, 2027
• Guaranteed Hours: Yes

About the Role:

You'll work as a float nurse in the Medical ICU, providing care to high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment. This role does not require floating to other units.

Requirements:

• Massachusetts nursing license
• Minimum 2+ years of related ICU experience
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Current AHA CPR certification
• Current ACLS certification

What to Know:

• Orientation is held weekly, every Monday (excluding holidays)
• No float to other units required
• Time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application; no more than three days off approved; no holiday time-off permitted
• Parking costs vary and may reach up to $43/day
