OR Circulator
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an OR Circulator to provide direct nursing care in the operating room. You'll implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate care across disciplines, and communicate patient conditions to the healthcare team. This role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans
- Observe, record, and communicate patient conditions
- Serve as primary coordinator across all disciplines for well-coordinated care
- Carry out physician and nursing orders
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
- Follow Standard Precautions and use personal protective equipment as required
Schedule & Contract Details
- Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (4 x 10-hour days)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 27, 2026
- On-Call: Must be available for call and holiday work as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (current Nursys verification required)
- Current licensure/certificate verification
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment
