Pediatric Emergency Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver professional nursing care in the Pediatric Emergency Department. You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary team to promote optimal health outcomes for pediatric patients and families, operating from the standards of the American Nurses Association and Ohio Board of Nursing.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, five 8-hour shifts per week
- 13-week contract
- Navy scrubs and navy or black scrub pants required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to 1–4 pediatric patients, based on acuity
- Manage your assigned patient team and adapt to changing census and patient needs
- Work in the Mental Health Crisis Center as part of ED nursing rotation
- Float across all ED sites and inpatient pediatric specialty units (Med/Surg, PICU, NICU, Transitional Care) as staffing requires
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active, unrestricted RN license in Ohio (Compact license acceptable)
- Current CPR and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ED experience
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
