Pharmacist – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Pharmacist for its pharmacy department on a 13-week contract. This is a night shift role (9:00 PM – 8:00 AM) with a 7-on/7-off schedule starting Wednesday nights.

Requirements

• Valid Texas pharmacist license (required)
• ACPE-accredited sterile compounding certification (required)
• Hospital pharmacy experience (required)
• IV certification for Texas (required)

Residency training, board certification, and prior HCA experience are preferred.

Clinical Scope

You'll manage order verification, process missing medication requests, and perform sterile compounding. The night shift consists of one pharmacist and one technician, so you'll work independently while supporting a larger day-shift team of decentralized and central pharmacists.

Schedule & Expectations

• Shift: 9:00 PM – 8:00 AM, 7 nights on / 7 nights off
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend Coverage: Most pharmacists work every other weekend
• Dress Code: Maroon scrubs
