Operating Room RN — Travel Contract | Augusta, GA

Day Shift | 4x10-Hour (06:30–17:00) | 14-Week Contract

This high-volume OR serves a broad patient population from adolescents through geriatrics, with active service lines in total joint replacement, robotic surgery, and complex spine/neuro cases. Both scrub and circulating experience are required.

Service Lines & Procedures

• Orthopedics: TKA, THA, RTKA, RTHA, TSA, TAA; ORIF (hip, wrist, patella); ACL reconstruction; arthroscopy; anterior and posterior total hips
• Spine/Neuro: Cervical, lumbar, and thoracic fusions; laminectomy; kyphoplasty; craniotomy with navigation
• Robotics: Colorectal resections, prostatectomy, lung lobectomy, mediastinal mass excision, general and gyn robotic procedures
• Urology: TURP, cystolitholapaxy, ureteroscopy with laser, aquablation
• *Note: OH and vascular specialties are not part of this OR assignment*

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years OR experience; no first-time travelers
• Previous charge RN experience required
• Active GA or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and CNOR preferred
• Scrub and circulate experience required (hard stop)

Scheduling & Call

• 2–3 weekend shifts per 8-week period (in-house or on call)
• 7–8 call shifts per 8-week period; call runs either 7 a.m.–7 p.m. or 7 p.m.–7 a.m.
• 2–3 weekday night call shifts per 8-week period
• Max RTO: 7 days per contract; all RTO must be finalized at submission
• Holiday work expected per standard rotation

• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

• Full compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start date
