Interventional Radiology Technologist — Lithonia, GA
13-Week Contract | Days | 40 hrs/week
A busy interventional radiology department is seeking an experienced IR Tech for a 13-week travel assignment starting as soon as possible. This is a day-shift position working five 8-hour shifts per week, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.
Clinical Scope
You'll perform a high volume of interventional procedures, including:
- Port placements
- PTA/Plasty and transcatheter stenting
- Declot and pulmonary angiography with declot
- Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography (PTC) and percutaneous nephrostomy (PCN)
- Permanent vascular catheters and PICCs
- Lower extremity run-off with intervention
Requirements
- ARRT certification (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Minimum 18 months of IR experience within the last 3 years
- On-call availability required
- Willingness to float to other campuses as needed
Schedule & Details
- Shift: Days, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
Experience with interventional imaging equipment and electronic health records is preferred. Candidates comfortable working across multiple campus locations will be well-suited for this role.
