Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for night shift work. You'll care for post-operative and acute care patients on telemetry monitoring in a busy med/surg unit.
Shift & Schedule
- Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- 13-week contract
- Start date: November 20, 2026
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Active, unrestricted RN license (Ohio or compact state license in hand at submission)
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, ANM, or director (from work in the past 12 months)
What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care to med/surg telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to patient changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, quality care
- Document care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Pre-Employment
- Background check review (no open cases)
- ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (2 attempts to pass)
- Background and FBI clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- Drug screen required within 12 months of start date
