Emergency Department RN – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility's Emergency Department is open 24/7 and manages a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels. You'll work alongside a fully staffed team providing , assessment, and emergency care to approximately 14,000 patient visits annually.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM, 12-hour days
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 23, 2026
• Weekend & Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend; holidays required as needed
• Block scheduling is not available for this assignment

Requirements

• 2+ years current Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting (Required)
• Vermont RN license or Compact (Required)
• Active certifications (Required):
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• PALS (AHA)
• 3+ months travel experience (Preferred)
• Bachelor Degree (Preferred)
• Valid driver's license; must provide own transportation
• Permanent address and all scheduling requests must be submitted at time of application
