Interventional Radiology Technologist

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a busy vascular interventional suite. You'll work day shifts in a fast-paced environment handling approximately 25 cases per day, with exposure to complex vascular and endovascular procedures.

Schedule & Call

• Days: 4x10-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
• On-Call: 1–2 nights per week; every third weekend (Friday 7 p.m. – Monday 7 a.m.)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 23, 2026
• Holiday Rotation: Required to work 1–2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

Clinical Scope

You will scrub, circulate, and monitor during interventional vascular procedures, supporting both facility locations. The call team covers emergencies at multiple sites, with the majority routed to the main facility.

Required Qualifications

• 12 months current hospital/medical center experience in interventional vascular, IR lab, or cardiac catheterization
• Vascular scrub experience
• Endovascular procedure experience
• Peripheral vascular experience
• Current OR support experience
• Active ARRT (R) certification
• Active Iowa Radiology license (highly preferred; licensing candidates considered)
• Valid driver's license
• Current AHA BLS certification (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT CI or VI certification
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Level I trauma experience
