Medical-Surgical Nursing – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical nurse for a 13-week assignment. You'll provide direct patient care in a dynamic med-surg unit, managing post-operative recovery, acute medical conditions, and ongoing patient monitoring.

Schedule & Hours

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (AM shifts)
• Hours: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week guaranteed)
• Start Date: December 7, 2026

Requirements

• Current Georgia or compact RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 18 months of nursing experience
• Travel assignments preferred

What to Expect

You'll work alongside a collaborative care team in a fast-paced med-surg environment. Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, wound care, post-operative monitoring, and patient education. The unit manages a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels and recovery needs.
