Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Labor & Delivery unit. You'll provide direct patient care during the night shift, supporting mothers through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- 13-week contract
- Start date: November 9, 2026
Requirements
- Current RN license (GA or compact)
- Minimum 18 months of L&D experience
- BLS (AHA), NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications required
- ACLS preferred
- IV insertion and electronic charting skills
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor laboring patients and fetal status
- Provide evidence-based intrapartum and postpartum care
- Collaborate with physicians and midwives during delivery
- Educate patients and families
- Float to other departments and facilities as staffing needs arise
What to Expect
This is a fast-paced L&D environment. You'll work independently and as part of a strong team. Float expectations are department-based and monitored.
