Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Washington Court House, OH

This 13-week travel contract places you on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit caring for a mixed patient population ranging from therapy-level to progressive care (PCU-level) acuity. The unit demands strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week (three 12-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• No call, no holidays
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Clinical Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care coordination
• Provide patient and family education, health counseling, and discharge planning
• Supervise and delegate nursing tasks while maintaining full accountability for patient outcomes

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license (or compact license)
• Minimum 3 years of clinical RN experience
• ACLS and BLS (required)
• HARP/CPI preferred; training available
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility
