Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

About the Role
We're seeking a Telemetry Nurse to join the facility's cardiac monitoring unit. You'll provide direct patient care to individuals requiring continuous heart rhythm monitoring, post-procedure observation, and acute cardiac management. This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and clinical judgment are essential.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and assess patients on telemetry, recognizing and reporting arrhythmias and changes in patient status
- Perform EKGs and interpret basic rhythms
- Administer medications and provide IV therapy
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about cardiac care and discharge planning
Requirements
- Current RN license (NC)
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Telemetry experience preferred
