Position Overview

The facility is seeking a registered nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in the progressive care unit. This is a full-time position offering 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Start Date: October 26, 2026

Clinical Scope

The PCU provides care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent nursing interventions. You'll manage patients with varying acuity levels, deliver direct patient care, administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs and patient responses, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current RN license (North Carolina)
• PCU or med-surg nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
