Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
About the Role
The facility's PCU provides care for patients requiring close monitoring and intermediate-level interventions. You'll work with a collaborative team delivering compassionate care to patients transitioning between acute and general medical-surgical floors.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients with complex medical and surgical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments under physician direction
- Perform wound care, catheter management, and other procedural nursing duties
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Document care accurately and maintain patient confidentiality
- Contribute to a supportive, patient-centered care environment
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (North Carolina)
- PCU or similar acute-care nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
