Progressive Care Unit – RN
Asheville, NC | 13-Week Contract
Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM (Days)
Schedule: Every other weekend
Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
About the Unit
What You'll Do
- Perform neuro and spinal assessments
- Manage chest tubes, tracheostomies, and lumbar drains
- Administer IV infusions, PCA pumps, and blood transfusions
- Place C-collars and TLSO braces
- Assist with feeding tube placement
- Provide hands-on care with strong team collaboration
Required Qualifications
- RN licensure (current and unencumbered)
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications
- Neuro and Trauma Care experience (mandatory)
- Ability to float to stepdown and med-surg units as needed
