Position Overview
The facility is seeking a registered nurse for a progressive care unit. This 13-week contract runs from October 18, 2026, with guaranteed 36 hours per week.
Schedule & Shift Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Days per week: Variable (36 guaranteed hours)
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit Description
You'll work in a PCU setting caring for patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and nursing intervention. The unit manages patients transitioning from acute care or those with complex, evolving conditions requiring close observation and skilled nursing assessment.
Requirements
- Current RN license (valid in North Carolina)
- PCU or step-down unit experience preferred
- Ability to work the posted day shift schedule
- Professional communication and collaborative teamwork
