About the Role
You'll join a progressive care unit serving patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and care. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a dynamic environment where clinical acuity and patient volume demand strong assessment and communication skills.
The Unit
The facility's PCU manages step-down and intermediate-acuity patients, including those transitioning from critical care and those requiring close hemodynamic or telemetry monitoring. You'll collaborate with an experienced interdisciplinary team in a supportive, evidence-based practice environment.
What You'll Need
- Current RN license (North Carolina)
- BLS certification required
- PCU or step-down unit experience preferred
- Ability to manage a moderate patient load and adapt to fast-paced operations
- Strong assessment and communication skills
