Cardiac Care Unit (CVICU) — Asheville, NC

Position Overview

The facility seeks a registered nurse for its cardiac care unit. This 13-week contract offers consistent, meaningful work in a specialized cardiovascular setting.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Full-time assignment

Clinical Environment

You'll provide direct patient care in a cardiac intensive care unit managing post-operative cardiac surgery patients, acute coronary syndromes, and other high-acuity cardiovascular conditions. This is a collaborative environment where you'll work alongside cardiologists, surgeons, and specialized nursing staff to deliver evidence-based care.

Requirements

• Current RN license (North Carolina)
• Current ACLS certification
• Cardiac nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
• Strong assessment and communication skills
