Neuroscience RN — Night Shift | Asheville, NC

This 13-week travel contract places you on a neuroscience unit caring for a diverse adult neurological patient population. The unit operates with a collaborative team structure across day and night shifts, with charge RN, CNA, and HUC support.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirement
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Clinical Scope

• Neurological and neuroscience patient population
• Common procedures include Foley insertion and IV access
• NIH stroke scale assessment is a core competency on this unit
• Float potential to other medical-surgical floors

Requirements

• Active RN license
• ACLS certification (required)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (required)
• Neuro experience strongly preferred; candidates with neuro background will be prioritized

• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
