Emergency Department Nurse

Position Overview

The facility's Emergency Department is seeking a registered nurse for a 13-week contract. This is a day shift position working 4 x 12-hour schedules (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM).

Schedule & Expectations

• Every other weekend; no call duties
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Start date: November 1, 2026

Requirements

• Active RN license (verification required at submission)
• Current immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, and TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Fit test and color vision assessment
• ACLS and EKG competency
• Background check and drug screen

What You'll Do

Work in a fast-paced emergency setting managing diverse patient presentations and acuity levels. You'll apply core nursing skills, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and provide direct patient care in a dynamic environment.

Clinical Environment

This emergency department handles a wide variety of patient populations and acuity levels. You'll use established clinical protocols and electronic health record systems during your shift.
