Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract in Cleveland, OH. You will deliver care to patients on telemetry monitoring, with the potential to float to other units caring for similar patient populations.

Shift & Schedule

• Rotating day/night 3×12-hour shifts: 7:00 am–7:30 pm and 7:00 pm–7:30 am
• Shifts may vary to meet operational needs; the facility will do its best to honor your preference but reserves the right to rotate as needed
• Commitment to work at least every other holiday required
• Start date: November 20, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months of permanent, full-time experience in Med/Surg Telemetry (or specialty you're applying for)
• Permanent Ohio license or valid compact state license in hand at submission
• Active certifications: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
• One professional reference required (manager, charge nurse, supervisor, or director from past 12 months)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Orientation & Assessments

During onboarding, you'll complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment. Acceptable scores on both are required to continue; you'll have two attempts maximum.

What to Know

• Contract is 13 weeks, guaranteed hours
• Background check and fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing
• Extensions available up to 18 months with a required 6-month break afterward
• Pre-start modules required (6–15 hours average, varies by specialty)
