Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN – Float Pool
Position Overview
Join the float pool serving all PCU and intermediate care unit (IMCU) floors with a focus on cardiac patient management. This role offers variety and the opportunity to develop expertise across multiple acute care settings.
Clinical Scope
You'll care for patients with acute coronary syndromes (STEMI, NSTEMI), chest pain presentations, and post-cardiac intervention cases. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing advanced cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors)
- Monitoring patients on telemetry with varying acuity levels
Schedule & Contract Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Start date: November 16, 2026
- Location: Atlanta, GA
- Minimal requested time off (RTO)
Requirements
- Current RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar acute care setting
- Ability to float across PCU/IMCU units
