Operating Room Surgical Nurse – Cardiothoracic Surgery
The Opportunity
Schedule & Commitment
- 10-hour days with varied start times
- Call required: 1–2 weeknight calls per week
- Weekend call: approximately 1x/month (Friday end-of-shift through Monday 6:30 am)
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- 91-week assignment
What You'll Work With
- Dedicated OR techs, charge nurse oversight, OR Director, and OR Manager
- 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy support
- Hospital-provided scrubs
- One preceptor-led orientation shift
Requirements
- BLS Certification
- COVID Vaccine (required)
- OR nursing experience preferred
Cancellation Policy
The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week period (3 shifts for assignments under 13 weeks).
