Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
Position Overview
Join the cardiac catheterization lab team in a fast-paced procedural environment. You'll scrub and monitor cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology (EP), and peripheral vascular cases from day one. This role requires strong technical skills, procedural knowledge, and a collaborative mindset.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Call required: approximately 14–15 days per month with alternating weekends
- Please submit any no-call requests prior to contract start
Unit Details
The cath lab operates 4 procedural rooms with a day shift team of 3–4 staff per room (RNs and technologists). You'll work alongside dedicated colleagues performing:
- Cardiac catheterization and STEMI cases
- Interventional radiology procedures (Permcath, fistula access)
- Electrophysiology (device implants, ablations, Watchman)
- Peripheral angiograms
Required Qualifications
- ARRT or RCIS certification with demonstrated cath lab experience
- Proven ability to scrub cardiac cath cases
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Ability to scrub and monitor procedures independently
Preferred Experience
- IR and EP procedure scrubbing
- Maclab charting experience
