MRI Technologist – Mobile Unit | Morgantown, WV
13-Week Contract | Days | Monday–Friday
A unique opportunity for an experienced MRI Technologist to join a brand-new mobile MRI unit at its launch. This role begins ahead of the unit's opening date, with the selected clinician helping to establish operations and get the unit fully up and running — ideal for someone who thrives in a build-out environment.
Schedule & Hours
- 24 guaranteed hours per week
- 2 × 12-hour shifts per week, scheduled Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- No weekends, no holidays, no call or standby
Clinical Scope
- Single-scanner mobile MRI unit
- Imaging studies include: Brain, Spine, MRA, Body (Abdomen, Pelvis, Chest), and MSK (Long Bone, Joints)
- Approximately 14 scans per day
- Staffing model: 1 MRI Tech supported by 2 Technologist Assistants
- IV starts required
- Must be comfortable working as a lone technologist with direct physician communication
- No float to other departments
Requirements
- BLS (AHA)
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification
- Active West Virginia MRI license (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
- IV experience required
- Strong physician communication skills

- Grey scrubs required (not provided)
- Cancellation policy: up to 2 shifts per 13-week assignment
- Radiologist on-site; Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on-site
