Operating Room Registered Nurse
Position Overview
The facility's operating room is seeking an experienced OR RN to join a dynamic surgical team. You'll circulate across multiple surgical specialties in a fast-paced environment, supporting cases ranging from routine procedures to complex trauma surgeries.
Shift & Schedule
- 10-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- 4 days per week
- 13-week contract
- Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Local candidates welcome
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of acute care OR experience
- Current active RN license (NH or Compact)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- PALS preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Circulating experience across ortho, urology, vascular, general, trauma, ENT, OB/GYN, plastics, podiatry, GI, neuro, thoracic, and robotics cases—please specify your years in each specialty
The Role
You'll circulate across all surgical specialties with no floating to other departments. This role requires a high-energy, self-directed nurse who can hit the ground running with minimal orientation. You should be comfortable taking ownership and adapting quickly to the OR's pace.
What We're Looking For
Experienced OR nurses only—this is not a first-time travel position. Candidates must demonstrate charge/manager-level competency matching their specialty background.
