CVOR Nurse – Travel Contract | Santa Maria, CA

Shift: 4 x 10-hour days | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks (with potential for extension)

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

About the Role

This travel opportunity is in a cardiovascular OR setting, supporting a surgical team through a full range of CV cases. When cardiovascular cases are not scheduled, you will be expected to float within the department.

Clinical & Unit Details

• Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Patient population: Cardiovascular surgical cases
• Float requirement: Yes — within unit when CV cases are unavailable
• Cancellation policy: Up to 4 shifts may be canceled over a 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license (must be submitted prior to placement)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• BSN not required
• Completion of required onboarding modules prior to start date (approximately 6 hours)

Schedule & Compensation Notes

• Overtime calculated after 40 hours per week
• Scrub color: Not specified — confirm at time of offer
