Telemetry RN – 13-Week Contract

Location: Atlanta, GA

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: November 16, 2026

About the Role

The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN to provide continuous cardiac monitoring and acute nursing care to patients with cardiac and other acute conditions. You'll interpret EKGs and cardiac rhythms, identify arrhythmias, and escalate care as needed. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to patient changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms continuously and respond to arrhythmias
• Administer cardiac medications, drips, and antiarrhythmics per physician orders
• Assess and promptly respond to changes in patient condition
• Place IV lines and PICC lines as needed
• Respond to rapid response and code interventions
• Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and the care team
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and treatment plans
• Document assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR
• Maintain infection control and fall prevention protocols

Requirements

• Active RN license (Georgia or compact license)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1+ years of telemetry experience
• Competency in EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm monitoring
• Experience with cardiac medications and hemodynamic monitoring
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy
