ICU Registered Nurse | 13-Week Travel Contract | Exeter, NH

This ICU position is a 13-week contract supporting a community-based intensive care unit that manages high-acuity adult patients. The unit cares for a typical community ICU mix including medical emergencies, post-surgical recovery, respiratory failure, and sepsis, supported by on-site intensivists and hospitalists. The unit also provides stabilization for pediatric patients prior to transfer when needed, and manages acute stroke patients through tele-neurology services as part of a certified stroke program.

Shift Details

• 12-hour days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every third weekend required
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)
• No float requirement

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Anticipated start: November 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Active RN license or compact eligibility for New Hampshire

Clinical Scope

Candidates should be comfortable managing ventilated patients, hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive drips, post-operative critical care, and sepsis protocols. Experience with stroke recognition and acute neurological assessment is a plus.

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a separation period of at least 6 months to be considered.
