Stepdown RN – 13-Week Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment on a stepdown unit. You'll care for post-acute and intermediate-acuity patients transitioning through recovery, working rotating 3x12-hour shifts.
Shift & Schedule
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Rotating schedule; shifts may vary to meet operational needs
- Commitment to work at least every other holiday required
Clinical Scope
You may float to other assigned units to care for similar patient populations. During orientation, you'll complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment; passing both is required to remain on assignment (maximum 2 attempts).
Required Qualifications
- 12 months permanent experience in stepdown or similar specialty
- Active permanent Ohio license or valid compact state license (required at time of submission)
- Current certifications:
- BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- One professional reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) from an assignment within the past 12 months
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 20, 2026
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Travelers may extend up to 18 months; a 6-month break follows unless the facility approves a deferral.
