Operating Room (OR) – 8-Hour Day Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for the operating room. This is a 13-week contract position working day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Requirements
- Valid MA license (required at time of submission)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) AHA certification
- Minimum 2+ years of healthcare experience
- Demonstrated experience in trauma hospital and travel assignment settings
- Experience in similar hospital OR environments
- Current flu vaccination (required prior to start; no religious exemptions)
Position Details
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Schedule: 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
- Float: No float required
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: December 7, 2026
