Emergency Room RN — Night Shift | Great Barrington, MA

This 13-week contract position is a night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) role in an Emergency Department serving a community in the southern Berkshires of Massachusetts. The facility operates as a primary acute care hospital with 24-hour emergency coverage and a broad scope of inpatient and surgical services.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday availability required — candidates must be available to work at least two of the following blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving/Friday after, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day
• No call required

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience (required)
• ED and/or Cardiac Room experience preferred and given first consideration
• Must demonstrate independent clinical judgment, critical thinking, and emotional stability in emergency settings

Preferred Qualifications

• CEN and ENPC certifications
• IV Certification
• BSN

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all American Heart Association)

Additional Details

• Scrubs: Any color personal scrubs
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Personal vehicle required
• All RTO (maximum 5 days) must be submitted at time of profile upload — requests after submission will not be approved
• Candidates may not hold a concurrent permanent or travel placement at another facility
