Cardiothoracic Operating Room (CVOR) RN
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced CVOR RN for a 91-week contract in Dallas, TX. This is a day shift role (6:30 AM–5:00 PM) with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
About the Unit
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during cardiothoracic procedures
- Maintain sterile field and manage instrumentation
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to intraoperative changes
- Collaborate with CSTs, anesthesia technicians, and perioperative staff
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Strong cardiovascular surgery experience (CV background essential)
Preferred Qualifications
- CNOR certification

- On-call coverage: 45-minute response time; weekends and nights covered by call shifts
