Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract | Wichita, KS

Join a fast-paced Emergency Department in Wichita, KS on a 13-week travel contract. This is a day shift position with guaranteed hours and no on-call requirement.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No call
• 36 guaranteed hours per week

Unit Overview

This ED position involves caring for a diverse patient population across a range of acuity levels typical of a busy emergency setting. Candidates must be comfortable with EKG interpretation and point-of-care testing. Float coverage to like units on the same or a nearby campus within Wichita may be required.

Required Credentials (at Submission)

• Active RN license (Nursys verification)
• License/Certificate Verification
• Skills Checklist
• Two professional references

Onboarding Requirements

• Specialty and core competency exams
• EKG exam
• Color vision assessment
• Point-of-care glucose testing competency
• Standard immunization documentation: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza
• TB screening (2-Step PPD or IGRA)
• Fit test, health statement, background check, and drug screen (11-panel)
