Respiratory Therapist – CVICU

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for its Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This is a 90-week contract position working nights: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Current NBRC registration and RCP licensure through the Texas Medical Board
• 3–5 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Minimum 2 weeks of critical care experience
• 36 guaranteed hours per week

Role & Environment

You'll provide respiratory care to critically ill cardiac patients in a dynamic CVICU setting. Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway care, monitoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Onboarding

Standard credentialing and health screening will be required, including background check, vaccinations, TB testing, and skills verification.
