Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for its telemetry unit. You'll deliver coordinated nursing care to patients, supervise assigned nursing staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 or 48-hour weekly options
- 13-week contract
- One holiday off; willingness to work remaining holidays required
Clinical Scope
Assess, analyze, and develop individualized care plans using the nursing process. Implement evidence-based interventions, monitor patient progress, and adjust plans as needed. Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge planning, and delegate tasks to healthcare team members. Work in a fast-paced acute care environment managing telemetry-monitored patients.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current BLS (CPR) certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Electronic health record (EHR) experience required
Organizational Requirements
All employees must receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available.
