Telemetry Registered Nurse — Night Shift | Simi Valley, CA

This 13-week contract places you in a telemetry unit in Southern California, managing a diverse patient population that includes cardiac monitoring, stroke patients, and pediatric cases. The unit requires strong clinical assessment skills, independent judgment, and the ability to coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams.

Shift Details

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week guaranteed
• Estimated start: November 9, 2026

Clinical Scope

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patient groups per established standards
• Collect and analyze health data to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust interventions accordingly
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing team members appropriately

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN license (state of California or compact equivalent)
• BLS (from approved vendor)
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Experience & Education

• Minimum two years of recent acute care or telemetry experience required
• BSN preferred
• Electronic health records proficiency required

Additional Requirements

• Night shift availability required
• Must be willing to work one major holiday; one holiday off may be approved
• Vaccination requirements apply per facility policy
