ICU Registered Nurse
About the Role
Join the ICU team in Simi Valley, CA, where you'll deliver coordinated nursing care to patients and supervise nursing staff across various levels. You'll work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in a fast-paced acute-care environment.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: December 21, 2026
- Holidays: One holiday off approved; willingness to work the other holiday required
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in California
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years recent acute-care experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Experience with electronic health record systems required
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient data and collaborate on care planning
- Implement and evaluate patient care plans
- Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing team members
- Educate patients, families, and team members
- Participate in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care
- Maintain a safe, healing environment
