ICU Registered Nurse — Nights | Simi Valley, CA

Contract: 13 weeks | Start Date: December 21, 2026

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36–48 hours per week (nights)

The facility is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Simi Valley, CA. This position involves delivering coordinated, high-acuity nursing care within a critical care setting, managing complex patient populations including stroke and cardiovascular cases.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe, effective care
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
• Delegate appropriately and supervise assigned nursing staff

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Active RN license (state of practice)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Experience & Education:

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility background preferred

Additional Details:

• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Night shift availability required; must be willing to work holidays (one holiday off may be approved)
• Charting system proficiency required — prior experience in the relevant platform is mandatory
