Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Simi Valley, CA | 13-Week Contract

This telemetry position offers night shift coverage (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) on a 13-week contract with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Start date is November 9, 2026.

The Role

You'll deliver coordinated nursing care to telemetry patients, supervising and directing assigned nursing staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Critical thinking, independent clinical judgment, and strong organizational skills are essential in this role.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Assess patients, analyze data, and develop individualized care plans
• Implement interventions and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes
• Coordinate with patients, families, and the broader care team to ensure safe, patient-centered care
• Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care
• Provide patient and family education throughout the care continuum
• Delegate appropriately to nursing team members

Schedule & Expectations

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36- or 48-hour week options available
• Must be willing to work holidays (one holiday off may be approved)

Required Credentials

• Active RN license in California
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (from an approved vendor)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
• BSN preferred

Additional Requirements

• Proficiency in electronic health records is required
• Must meet facility vaccination requirements; medical and religious exemptions may apply
