Telemetry Registered Nurse — Nights | Simi Valley, CA

This 13-week travel contract places you in a telemetry unit in Southern California, working night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The position carries an AUTO OFFER designation.

The Role

You'll deliver coordinated nursing care for telemetry patients, utilizing critical thinking and independent clinical judgment. Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, intervention implementation, and ongoing outcome evaluation. You'll supervise and direct nursing team members, collaborate across disciplines, and actively participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population & Scope

The unit manages cardiac monitoring patients requiring telemetry-level observation. You will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team serving patients and families in a structured acute care environment.

Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36-hour minimum per week (12-hour shifts)
• Must be willing to work one holiday (one holiday off may be approved)

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN license (California or compact)
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Additional Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience
• Telemetry/cardiac monitoring experience strongly preferred
• BSN preferred
• Proficiency with electronic health record charting is required
• Willing to meet facility vaccination requirements
