RN – Night Shift ICU
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for night shift work in the ICU. You will deliver coordinated, evidence-based nursing care to a patient assignment, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36- or 48-hour weekly options
- 13-week contract
- Willingness to work all holidays except one is required
Requirements
- Current RN licensure (state of assignment)
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Clinical charting proficiency required
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, analyze, and develop individualized care plans
- Implement evidence-based interventions and evaluate patient progress
- Supervise and delegate to nursing team members appropriately
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care and participate in discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on health topics
- Maintain a safe, healing environment
