Telemetry Registered Nurse — Night Shift | Simi Valley, CA

This 13-week contract places an experienced RN on a Telemetry unit in Simi Valley, California. The unit provides coordinated, continuous cardiac monitoring for patients requiring close assessment and intervention across a range of acuity levels.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week (guaranteed 36 hours)
• Willingness to work holidays required; one holiday off may be approved

Clinical Scope

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond to changes in cardiac status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe, patient-centered care
• Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care
• Delegate and coordinate duties among nursing team members

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN license (state of practice)
• BLS (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
• Proficiency with electronic health record charting is required
• BSN preferred
