Labor & Delivery Nurse – 12-Hour Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility seeks experienced L&D nurses for its labor and delivery unit. You'll provide care to women throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period, as well as support for mother and baby care. The unit averages approximately 20 deliveries per month and cares for women and children until they are stable for discharge or transfer.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekends as scheduled
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current nursing license (RN)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• STABLE Certification
• Valid, unexpired driver's license (50-mile radius required for this position)
• BSN not required

Cancellation Policy

• 2 cancellations permitted per 13-week assignment
• 1 cancellation if assignment is less than 13 weeks

What You'll Do

Provide direct patient care during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. Support mother-baby bonding and post-delivery assessment. Work collaboratively with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members in a fast-paced acute care environment.
