Cardiac Catheterization Lab Nurse
Position Overview
Join the pre- and post-catheterization lab team in a procedural nursing role. You'll provide care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, with responsibilities spanning pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure support, and post-procedure recovery and monitoring.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM, 36 hours per week
- Days: Monday–Friday (no weekends, no holidays, no on-call)
- Duration: 91 weeks
Responsibilities
- Pre- and post-catheterization patient care
- Procedural support in the cath and EP labs
- Post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) monitoring
- Critical care assessment and intervention
- Float assignments between procedural areas as needed
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience in pre/post-catheterization care, procedural nursing, PACU, and critical care settings
- Flu vaccine required
