RN – NICU

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an RN for its Level 3 NICU. This is a 13-week contract position offering 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Flexible scheduling; no block scheduling
• Must be willing to float to other units within the Women's Hospital as a functional float (no patient assignment during float)

Unit Description

You'll work in a high-acuity neonatal intensive care unit managing complex and critically ill infants. The team includes Charge RNs, Code Neonatal RNs, unit clerks, and lactation support staff. You'll wear navy blue scrubs and collaborate in a structured, supportive clinical environment.

Requirements

• Current RN license (verified via Nursys)
• NICU experience and clinical competency
• Vaccinations: MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza
• Two-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
• Fit test and health statement required
• EPLS certification
• Background check and drug screening

Onboarding

You will complete facility orientation, specialty exam, core competencies training, unit-specific checklist, and EMR system test-out prior to beginning patient care.
